Except today they look a little less dirty than normal after slop mopping which is saying a lot.

A thankless job but my floors do come out the cleanest this way. I bought a pair of knee pads to aid the process. Try damp mopping and spot cleaning but never use a commercial floor cleaner with polish. This is why floors still look dirty even after a thorough mopping.

Even after the cleaners have just been its still dirty if you wipe it for example with a cloth if a bit of tea is spilt on the floor imo the only way to ghet it really clean is to get down on hands and needs with a microfibre cloth and actually do each little bit and get the whole floor really clean.

Remember water and a tiny bit of glass cleaner is more than enough to get the floors clean. The truth is most people know the basics of mopping but they make a couple of key mistakes. To remedy this try a different cleaner or use less cleaner. Repeat this process until you do not feel any sticky feeling under your shoes or your bare foot.

Whenever detecting noticeable dirty water you had better dump the sudsy water and rinsed out your mop before mopping it again into the clean water. Floors should be vacuumed or swept before they are steam mopped. So i don t really clean them and they look dirty clean them and they still look dirty. Then again most of us are frustrated when our freshly mopped floors still look dirty.

You can also buff the floors dry with an absorbent towel after you are done mopping. My floors are still dirty immediately after i mop.
