T molding transition strips have two lips to cover the edges of both surfaces when flooring products differ no more than about 3 8 inch in height. I m looking for some solutions to make this horrible transition between my kitchen and living room better. Reducer strips operate in a similar fashion to ramps in that they reduce the height from one flooring material to the other.

The old one here when i bought the house was no good and i took it out in hopes to fix it but that did not go well.
